Mission Statement

The Business Tax Field Audit Section's mission is to treat all taxpayers with fairness, courtesy and respect, while ensuring taxpayer compliance with Maryland's revenue laws and regulations. We will accomplish our goal by developing unbiased audit programs for taxes and fees, and generally educating the taxpayers on the requirements of the revenue laws.
