FAQ: IFTA

Can I get IFTA decals without a U.S. DOT number?

Display of the U.S. Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT) number is a federal requirement and your qualified vehicle cannot legally cross state lines without it. Maryland will not issue IFTA decals to any carrier who has not already complied with the U.S. Department of Transportation requirement.
